Hanging in Multiples

We are all familiar with the gallery wall by now. Your Pinterest feed is crawling with beautiful examples, tutorials have been provided on every major design blog... we've even touched on it in this post. Today, we're talking about the gallery wall's cousin- easier to execute, but equally impactful- "multiples". We're crazy about it, as you'll see in our new Fall 2015 Gift Catalog.

Hanging the same piece of art in 2s, 3s, even 4s, packs a big design punch without the hassle of collecting 12 different pieces over time. It's a bold visual statement, but since each piece has a similar sense of movement, one flows effortlessly into the other for a look that is always cohesive.

What do you think about this trend? Would you buy more than one of the same piece of artwork?

  1. Great idea and look! Yes, I will be doing this in my home. Might be an effective way of 'decorating' an entry hall staircase.
