Collard Green Wraps
Another season, another fresh crop of beautiful vegetables are available locally. Collard greens are a plentiful vegetable. Slightly bitter, a little peppery, they have a unique flavor profile that works alone or as one component of a recipe. We made them the star of our recipe today, Collard Green Wraps!
Ingredients- choose the vegetables you love the most! We used:
- Collard Greens- split & remove stems
- Carrots- peel and julienne
- Red Bell Pepper- remove seeds & julienne
- Cucumber- julienne
- Purple Cabbage- slice thin
- Peanuts- rough chop
Remove the stem, assemble and roll!
Optional Dipping Sauces- Thai Peanut or Hoisin
